Happy Tuesday! Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about Vail and how much I’d love to fit in a trip there again this summer. Long before we had kids, my husband and I visited Vail several times in the summer and completely fell in love with it. And here’s the funny thing… We’ve actually never been during ski season 😅 For us, Vail has always been a summer place. A slower-paced, laid-back mountain town with cool weather, beautiful scenery, and the kind of atmosphere that just makes you want to stay outside all day. Back then, it was bike rides, walks through the village, and relaxing together. Now? It’s playground stops, gondola rides, mountain coasters, Epic Discovery adventures, and four boys running around Vail Village eating ice cream. And honestly? Somehow we love it even more now. That’s what I think makes Vail so special. It grew with us. It worked for us before kids, and now it works in a completely different way with kids too. We always stay in Vail Village or Lionshead because I love being able to walk everywhere. The parks are amazing, the bike rides are one of our favorite parts of the trip, and the whole town just has this relaxed, outdoorsy vibe that feels so good in the summer. I shared all of our favorite family-friendly things to do in Vail, where we stay, and why we keep going back here: Because sometimes the places that mean the most to you only get better with time 💛 Stay tuned for more packing tips, behind-the-scenes travel hacks, and inspiration to make your trips feel doable and fun.
