Hi friend!

Last week, I shared how we spent a fun and doable day in Seattle with our kids. But if you have more time—or want to add some extra stops to your list—Seattle has even more family-friendly options, all within easy walking distance of the Space Needle.

Here’s what we did and what’s on our list for next time:

🧪 1. Pacific Science Center

The morning that we checked out of the Hyatt House, my husband and three of my boys spent a couple of hours here—and they had a fun time!

The Pacific Science Center full of interactive science exhibits, a butterfly house, and hands-on experiments.

The best part? We were able to use our Science Center passes to get in for free! So, if you have a membership through your local science center, definitely check if it’s included.

While they explored here, my other son and I did the Underground Donut Tour (and had so much fun!). I highly recommend this as well if you have time and any older kids that love donuts! 🍩

🎨 2. Chihuly Garden and Glass

This one’s on my list for next time. The glass sculptures are stunning, and it’s a quick walk from the Space Needle. Not every kid would love it, but if you have art lovers, this would be a great stop.

🧸 3. Seattle Children’s Museum

Located inside the Seattle Center Armory, this is perfect for younger kids who love to play and explore! I love that it’s in the same building as the food hall—easy meals and playtime in one spot!

🎡 4. The Seattle Great Wheel

If you make it to the waterfront, this Ferris wheel gives you amazing city and water views.

We walked to it after our Underground Donut tour, and it was a sight to see!

Even if you don't ride The Great Wheel, it is still worth walking to it and enjoying the waterfront views.

Also, there is a brand new playground in that area that the kids will love too!

🐠 5. Seattle Aquarium

Also on the waterfront, the aquarium is a hit with families. We didn’t make it there this time, but it’s on our list for a future visit.

You can easily do The Seattle Great Wheel and Aquarium in the same day!

👏 Why I Love This List

All of these stops are easy to reach from the Space Needle area or the Monorail—which keeps things simple.

If you have one or two extra days, you can mix and match these with what I shared last week to build the perfect Seattle itinerary for your family.

Have you been to Seattle with kids? What would you add to this list?
