Hi Reader!

Spring Break is coming up, which means one thing—travel days are happening. ☀️

If you’re anything like me, a long day of traveling with kids can feel overwhelming.

Whether you’re road-tripping, flying, or even taking a train, long travel days can test your patience. 🚗 ✈️

I’ve been there—juggling four kids, managing snacks, and trying to keep everyone happy while also staying sane myself. 🤹‍♀️

The hardest part? Making sure each kid gets the attention they need while also keeping your own energy up. That’s why I’ve learned that the key to a smoother travel day starts with me—my mindset, preparation, and flexibility.

And since I know how challenging it can be, I’m sharing my best tips and tricks to help make your next travel day easier, too!

My Top 3 Travel Day Mindset Hacks:

Breathe – Seriously, take big deep breaths when things get chaotic. It helps more than you think! 🧘‍♀️
Treat Yourself – Coffee, chocolate, or your favorite snack—because let’s be honest, you deserve it. ☕️ 🍫 🍿
Remember: You’re the Glue – I repeat this mantra when things get tough: I am the glue here. I am strong. I can do this. We will make it! 🌈

My Best Spring Break Travel Survival Tips:

🚗 For Road Trips: Plan stops ahead of time! If you’re driving to your Spring Break destination, break up the trip with fun stops—whether it’s a quick roadside attraction or a museum visit, giving the kids something to look forward to makes a huge difference.

✈️ For Flights: Pack smart! Each kid gets a backpack with an iPad, headphones, a book, and snacks. And always pack a spare outfit—you never know when you’ll need it!

🎒 For Any Trip: Organization is key! I use packing cubes in my luggage and labeled bins in the car to keep everything easy to find.

✨Spring Break travel doesn’t have to feel stressful. With the right mindset and a little planning, you can make the travel day just another part of the adventure. ✨
