Hi Reader!

You know that moment when you're halfway through a trip and think, "Why didn’t I do this sooner?" That’s exactly how I felt the first time I used some of these travel hacks. Now, I make sure to do all of these on every family trip. ✈️ 🚗 🧳

If you’re heading out on Spring Break soon (or simply planning your next trip), here are my favorite family travel hacks you should definitely try this year! 😊

1️⃣ Use Packing Cubes for Each Kid
I used to dig through suitcases trying to find my kids’ clothes—until I discovered packing cubes. Before using them, bedtime was pure chaos—I’d be digging through overstuffed suitcases, searching for PJs while my kids got more and more impatient. Now, each of my boys gets their own color-coded cube so I can grab exactly what I need in seconds.

2️⃣ Bring an Empty Water Bottle for Every Kid
Airport drinks are crazy expensive, and my kids always seem to be thirsty the second we sit down on a plane. Now, we bring empty reusable water bottles and fill them up after security. This has saved me from buying overpriced airport drinks more times than I can count, and then we have them with us on our trip too!

3️⃣ Pack a White Noise Machine
Our kids sleep with white noise at home, so bringing a travel-sized white noise machine helps create the same sleep environment wherever we go. It drowns out hotel hallway noise and unfamiliar sounds, making it much easier for everyone to sleep well.

4️⃣ Use Google Maps to Find the Best Food Nearby
Instead of picking the first restaurant we see, I zoom in on Google Maps and search for places with 4.5 stars or higher. I also filter by “Most Reviewed” so I know it’s a local favorite!

➡️ Bonus hack: Check Google Reviews for photos of the kids’ menu before you go!

5️⃣ Keep a Travel “Go Bag” Ready to Grab
I always keep a pre-packed travel bag with the essentials so I’m never scrambling last-minute. This includes:

✔️ Travel-size toiletries
✔️ Extra phone chargers & batteries
✔️ First-aid kit & motion sickness bands
✔️ Extra snacks (because kids are always hungry)

➡️ Bonus hack: Keep a small pouch of meds (Tylenol, Dramamine, etc.) so you’re not searching for a pharmacy in a new city!

Which Hack Will You Try First?
I’d love to hear—reply and tell me your favorite travel hack!

P.S. I’ll be back next week with more travel tips, but for now, I’m soaking up some Spring Break time with my family. Hope you have some fun travel plans ahead! 😊
